Island Adventure
In 1996, Meridian took over management and operation of this
15,000 ton, 1200-passenger cruise vessel engaged in one-day
cruises. Meridian's management of this vessel provides all deck
and engine crew and oversees all aspects of technical and
regulatory functions. The vessel has undergone several successful
dry dock periods, and Meridian was instrumental in saving Cruise
Charter Ltd. over $250,000 in 1999 through innovative and
efficient management services, nearly 25% under budget. |

Island Holiday
In October 1997, Meridian was contracted to develop and implement
an activation plan for this 637-passenger vessel. On November 1,
Meridian proposed an aggressive three-week activation plan, and by
December 1, the vessel was trading in service. The Island Holiday
underwent a full cosmetic overhaul, a complete galley overhaul,
and was delivered fully crewed from Europe to Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida in full USCG, SOLAS, Class and USPH compliance. |
